A considered review of recorded findings.
Review of available images, measurements and cine clips, including Doppler where relevant. Ultrasound is operator-dependent: stored images may not capture everything, and a repeat examination may be needed.

What is a radiology second opinion?
It is another radiologist’s assessment of an existing imaging examination, considered with the original report and relevant clinical information. It may support the original interpretation, clarify a point or identify a different interpretation.
Will Dr Aleena review my case?
This pathway is for second-opinion review with Dr Aleena Elizabeth Andrews. The DoctorsRAD team first confirms whether the case falls within her accepted scope and whether the relevant professional and jurisdictional requirements can be met.
Can I request a review for any X-ray, CT, MRI or ultrasound?
You can enquire about each of these four modalities. Acceptance is assessed individually; a modality name alone does not establish that every examination or specialist case can be reviewed. Ultrasound may require additional recorded material or a repeat examination.
Do I need another scan?
A second opinion usually starts with the images already acquired. If those images are incomplete or do not answer the clinical question, the reviewing radiologist may recommend discussing further imaging with your treating clinician.
What will it cost, and how long will it take?
The team will confirm case suitability, fees, expected timing and the proposed report format before you decide to proceed. Submitting a callback request does not book or pay for a review.
Can I send scans through this website?
No. This form is only for initial contact details. Once suitability and consent are established, the team will explain the agreed process for sharing images, reports and clinical information.
Does a second opinion replace my treating doctor’s advice?
No. The opinion should be discussed with your treating clinician, who can relate it to your symptoms, examination and other investigations. Do not delay urgent care or change treatment while waiting for a review.
